Boogle and La Fitte
Robert J. Holz kindly gave me permission to share this drawing with you. A distinct and original impression of a gnoll, quite different from the Blackburrow gnolls we all love. I discovered this drawing on the Elfwood site, a fascinating and enormous web site containing thousands of fantasy stories and excellent artwork. Take a look at Elfwood even if you don't have time to read the fiction, the atwork is extraordinary, like this one here. Robert has this to say about this drawing, entitled "Boogle and La Fitte". This is Boogle, the gnoll, and La Fitte, the pseudo-kobold. They were actually two human adventurers who were polymorphed by an evil wizard and had their memories stripped from them.
