Sultana is finished!!

After more than a year of effort and peering at tiny little details, shaping wood, threading cotton through tiny holes in blocks and deadeyes, the Sultana is finally completed. Today I am a proud father! Certainly it has flaws if you peer closely but the overall effect is rather good and for my first build I think I did very well. I look forward to applying all the knowledge I learned building the Sultana into my next project, the Lady Nelson. I ordered it a litte while ago from England and it should be here soon.
You can see the last few photos of the Sultana and I shall post more once I have aquired or constructed a display case for it. I will also be posting some closeups of various parts of the completed ship, so watch this space.
