The Sultana is almost finished

I have posted the latest pictures of my Sultana model. After over a year of painstaking work, she is almost complete. I have a couple more yards to hang and then the final rigging. I amalready looking around for a display case to house her in and protect her from the cats and dust. Unfortunately display cases are not cheap.
I have already chosen the next model that I want to build. It is the Lady Nelson. On the face of it she might appear simpler than the Sultana, since she only has a single mast and less rigging. The important detail that makes her the next logical progression in developing my shipbuilding skills, is that she is not a solid hull like the Sultana but must be constructed by mounting each individual plank on the hull; just like a real ship would be constructed. I am looking forward to it!
