Vegas baby!
I spent the weekend in Las Vegas, courtesy of my Best Man and one of my Groomsmen. They did an awesome job of treating me to everything and ensuring constant entertainment throughout the weekend. Great job, guys! We ate a lot, drank a lot, gambled a lot, saw a show, walked the strip… All good Vegas-ey things.
As a result I have learned a lot more about how to gamble and not lose so much, and my Blackjack has improved noticeably. I don’t know why but I never bothered to learn Blackjack “Basic Strategy”. There really is a formula for every card dealt. Since I plan to return to Vegas in June for the S.O.’s birthday, I thought I’d start memorising the Basic Strategy. I might even try Baccarat next time. Not Craps though - I still have no understanding of that game.
